UV Radiation is divided into UVA rays and UVB rays:
- UVA rays lead to Aging
- UVB rays lead to Burning
The SPF rating tells you how much UVB protection you have.
SPF50 means it will take you 50 times as long to burn in the sun compared to if you hadn’t worn any sunblock at all. In practice, this means approximately 2 hours of protection.
View InZincable's 'High Protection SPF50' rating CERTIFICATION here.
PPD rating tells you how much UVA protection you have. InZincableTM has a UVA
rating of 16.93 which gives a PA++++ rating as it is above 15. (This value was measured according to the ISO 24443 UVA method).
Melashield TM is UV-stable stem cell-vitamin-tyrosinse inhibitor complex we
designed for people with skin of colour, who's primary skin concern is pigmentation from melasma, sunspots, acne or any scars. The difficulty with traditional treatments has been that the majority of tyrosinase inhibitors cannot be used during the day.
17% Zinc Oxide has been used making this a 100% mineral sunscreen (anti inflammatory) with no penetration of actives or nano-particles into the blood stream. This is why it is safe for pregnancy, children and those with sensitive skin.
We incorporated blue light protection as digital devices may lead our skin to produce free radicals, leading to premature aging.
2021 Consumer Trial Report Highlights
An independent clinical study on 51 subjects, between 30-64 years of age, showed the following results after 4 weeks usage:
> 90% said the product was easy to apply, suitable for their sensitive skin, and
non-comedogenic.
> 88% said they would recommend to friends and family.
> 82% said the product appeared invisible on their skin.
> 73% said the product improved the appearance of their hyperpigmentation.
You can view the FULL REPORT of the above and other findings here.
This is the only Zinc Oxide SPF50 sunscreen which leaves no 'white cast' on brown and black skin. Other 'no white cast' sunscreens are typically chemical sun barriers, not physical/mineral.
WINNER 1st Place - Marie Claire Magazine: Best Sunscreen for Dark Skin 2024
'N.A.F.E SAFE'- No Denatured Alcohol, No Fragrance, No Essential Oils - all things which typically irritate skin of colour or sensitive skin.
PLUS it contains Melashield (TM) to help reduce hyperpigmentation, another common concern for skin of colour. Tyrosinase inhibitors (depigmenters) usually cannot be worn during daylight. Our proprietary Melashield stem-cell technology allows you to wear these during the day.
For most skin types (normal/dry/combination), sensitive skin & persons over 2 years old.
Individuals with mildly oily or acne-prone skin can benefit from using this product. However, those at the extreme end of the spectrum may not find it suitable, especially in humid climates or during physical activity.
If required, to absorb excess dewiness and for a more contoured look, Dr V recommends applying translucent (mattifying) powder to the t-zone and jaw line after applying Inzincable.
Not for persons with a history of reactions to skincare products or overly sensitive, eczema-prone or damaged skin.

STORAGE: STORE IN A COOL, DRY PLACE (ROOM TEMP. OR BELOW). DO NOT REFRIGERATE OR PLACE IN SUNLIGHT.
After you cleanse and moisturise in the morning, apply max. ¼ to ½ a teaspoon of InZincable to the back of your hand and dot it around your face. Rub it in so you create an even layer across the face.
The product leaves a dewy finish on the skin post drying for a few minutes, after which make-up can be applied.
Re-apply your sunscreen every 2 hours in daylight.
Use within 6 months of opening for the product to remain in optimal condition.
LAYERING: If you are applying other products in conjunction, Inzincable should be the last layer, to give you maximum protection. However, cosmetic treatment products are normally applied at night, so Inzincable is usually not worn on top of anything other than moisturiser or make-up.
We recommend a wide brimmed hat and your Dr V Anti Melasma Sunglasses for additional protection.
STORAGE: Store in a cool dry place at room temperature. Keep away from heat & sunlight. Keep in a bag or under a towel when in the sun. Do not place heavy items on top of bottle to avoid product wastage when reopened.
Note 1: Twist cap to open / reveal nozzle. Shake your InZincable before each use. The product may become greasy if not shaken for a while.
Note 2: The product may not be completely 'invisible' if too much is used, layered on top of some types of creams, or not rubbed in sufficiently.
Note 3: The post application finish on the skin may vary on some oily skin types. To absorb excess dewiness and for a more contoured look, Dr V recommends applying translucent (mattifying) powder to the t-zone and jaw line after applying Inzincable.
1. Can children use InZincable?
Yes, it is safe for children from the age of 2.
2. Is InZincable water resistant?
It is not classified as ‘water resistant’ but will still work in water and just needs to be reapplied immediately after.
We advise that even ‘water resistant’ labelled sunblock should be reapplied after the skin is immersed in water.
3. Is Inzincable safe to use whilst pregnant or nursing?
Yes, expectant and nursing mums can use Inzincable without the concern of it entering your blood stream.
4. Is InZincable easy to apply/reapply? How much? How often?
Yes, it is very easy to apply for most users. It spreads effortlessly and absorbs well into the skin.
Please apply no more than one quarter to one half of a teaspoon i.e. one fingertip, at a time.
You can reapply InZincable on top of itself, and still look 'invisible'. Applying it on top of other sun products may give different results. Some users with very oily skin may also find the finish is different.
You should reapply every 2 hours, especially when outdoors or sweating. Reapply every 4-6 hours otherwise, even when indoors (during daylight hours).
5. What does InZincable LOOK like on the skin?
It leaves a slight 'dewy' finish with no white cast*. An observer would not be able to tell you are wearing any product on your skin.
This assumes you have SHAKEN the bottle before each use, applied the recommended SMALL quantity on clean, dry skin (not wet), and rubbed it in EVENLY.
*Results & appearance on the skin may vary per individual.
6a. I have oily, acne prone skin, can I use InZincable?
Yes, it is non-comedogenic (won't clog pores), but may leave a dewier finish on more oily skin types. In rare cases, spot breakouts may still be triggered, or occur anyway.
6b. I have eczema-prone skin, can I use InZincable?
Yes, you can use it on dry itchy skin, but not if broken, bleeding or infected.
7. I do not have 'skin of colour', can I still use InZincable?
Yes, it is invisible on all skin tones and works just as well.
8. Can I apply InZincable on the body and under the eyes?
Yes, it can be applied on all normal skin anywhere on the body, except for lips.
If it causes sensitivity, avoid application on eyelids or close enough to the eye that it could seep into it (with tear drops / sweat).
9. Will InZincable stop me from tanning?
Yes, all sunscreens will limit tanning to some extent.
10. Will using Inzincable limit the amount of Vitamin D I get?
All sunscreens reduce UVB radiation getting to the skin, theoretically reducing Vitamin D production. However, in practice, Vitamin D production should still continue, as all UVB radiation is not blocked 100%.
11. What is MelaShield?
MelaShield (TM) is a proprietary UV-stable stem cell-vitamin-tyrosinase inhibitor complex to help with the reduction of pigmentation. It is also designed to be suitable for use with other hyperpigmentation reduction programs, such as the Dr. V Facial Pigmentation Kit.
12. Are nano-particles safe?
Yes, there is no penetration of active ingredients or nano-particles into the blood
stream with InZincable. This is why it is safe for pregnancy, children and those with sensitive skin.
13. What is the shelf-life of InZincable?
Max. 12 months from opening.
14. Will you be making a less oily version?
The current formulation requires the 'oily' texture in order to achieve the 'no white cast' finish. It also allows the product to act as a 'glow primer' for make-up to be applied smoothly on top. This varies depending on how oily the user's skin is of course.
However, we are working on a new formulation to produce a 'matte' version for those with very oily skin, which may be ready within 12 months.
15. Is it Gluten Free?
Yes it is Gluten free

I absolutely love Dr. V Inzincable
Literally the best SPF I have found. I don’t use much makeup so I like that it leaves no white cast. I just pop it on after my moisturizer, do my hair & go on with my day. I recommend to all family & friends & will def be a continued customer! I use it on my son & fiancé too! My family's skin means a lot to me & I'm glad I have Dr. V products to help make our skin feel & look good and most importantly protected, esp. in the hot AZ summers.

He absolutely hated sunscreen before
This morning I put the famous Inzincable on my son. He has a big scar on his face and I try really hard to protect it. He hates me touching his face lol and he absolutely hated the sunscreen before Inzincable, it left a big white cast and he didn’t want to wear it to school. Here he is now with his Inzincable on and he a smiling kid because he doesn’t have a white sunscreen face going to school! Love this soo much I need to stock up!
